Find Your Fit

New to wood bats? We've got you.

Wood bats feel a little different than metal bats. That's a good thing. We'll help you understand why and find the right bat for your swing.

 WHY DOES WOOD FEEL HEAVIER?

Metal bats are hollow. Wood bats are solid.

That's why a wood bat may feel heavier when you swing it, even if both bats weigh the same.

It's not just how much a bat weighs. It's how that weight feels when you swing.

Bat Length is Important

Adding just one inch can make a bat feel much heavier when you swing it. In fact, that extra inch can change how a bat feels more than adding an ounce or two.

A bat that's too long can slow your swing down and make it harder to hit the ball well.

The right length helps you swing fast, stay in control, and make solid contact.

 Wood Bats Build Better Hitters

 SMALLER SWEET SPOT. BETTER SWING.

Aim small. Miss small.

Wood bats have a smaller sweet spot than most metal bats.

That means you have to focus on hitting the ball in just the right spot.

The more you train with wood, the better you can get at making solid contact.

Then, when you pick up your metal bat again, you have a bigger sweet spot to work with.

Train with a smaller target. Swing with more control. Hit with more confidence.

Build A stronger Swing

Wood bats may feel a little heavier than the metal bat you're used to.

That extra weight can help you build strength as you practice.

But too big and too heavy isn't always better.

A bat that's too heavy can slow your swing down and make it harder to hit the ball well.

The right bat helps you build strength without losing your mechanics.

Built To Help Young Hitters Grow

The right bat starts with the right length.

Your age and overall strength can help you find a good place to start. But how well you swing the bat matters most.

At Woody Meadows Bats, we've spent countless hours building and testing our youth bat models.

We didn't just make our adult bats smaller.

We built our youth models with young hitters in mind. From the shape of the barrel to how the bat feels in your hands, every detail matters.

Our goal is simple. Help young players swing with control, make solid contact, and build good habits.

Because the right bat doesn't just fit your swing. It helps you take it to the next level.
